[music]Hello, my name is Larry Cohen. I head up a very unique and specialized area of our practice dealing with injuries caused by vaccines. Let me say right off that we here at Anapol Schwartz fully support the vaccination program that has been established by our government, and we encourage all of you to have vaccinations as scheduled for you and your children. However, I'm here to let you know that, unfortunately, a certain percentage of everybody who gets vaccinated has an adverse reaction; sometimes those reactions can be serious and even catastrophic.
Approximately 15 years ago the United States government, our Congress, set up a program called the National Vaccine Compensation Act. It's run through the Federal Claims Court in Washington. Both my associate, Heather Lipson, and I are members of that court and practice regularly, representing victims of vaccines in that program. This unique program allows anyone who believes they have had a serious reaction from a vaccine to make a claim to seek compensation. Any vaccine including the Chicken Pox, MMR, DPT, or any other can cause injuries. Injuries typically occur within hours or days after someone gets the vaccine. If you or someone you love falls into this category, you may have the right to make a claim. Our vaccine litigation team will obtain all the necessary medical records, review the relevant statutes, and make a determination whether or not you or your loved one qualifies for compensation in this program. We'll then follow-up, file the claim, and pursue it to its conclusion.
We recently obtained a $10,000,000 recovery on behalf of a family whose young son had suffered severe brain damage after receiving a vaccine. If you believe that someone in your family or someone you love has suffered an adverse reaction to a vaccine, all you need to do is send us an email or give us a phone call and we're here to help. If you aren't sure whether or not you qualify under the terms of this program, simply contact us. We'll talk it over with you, and we'll let you know whether or not you qualify. Please call if you think you have a vaccine related problem. Thank you.
